Synthetic camphor called also as camketone which is white crystal with a cooling and refreshed smell, easily soluble in organic solvent and apt to sublimate.
Uses
Synthetic camphor as a plasticizer, used in production of celluloid, Pingpang PVC, nitro cellulose, syenthetic rubber and powder metallurgy; as a stablizer, used in ballistite-making; in medicine used as cardiotoic and cooling agent; in daily life, used as anthelmintic and preservative.
